Diabetes.
I, like nearly 10% of the US population,
have it.
Although, I try to deny it and will occasionally
laugh about it, Diabetes is no joking matter.
It has left me vision impaired and more which
is why it was a no-brainer for me to join
Team Diabetes of Second Life in their
3rd Annual Scare Me Silly Event.

Team Diabetes of Second Life is an official and authorized team of The American Diabetes Association. The mission of Team Diabetes of Second Life is to raise awareness, tolerance, and funds for diabetes in the virtual world of Second Life. According to the World Health Organization (2016): 422 million adults in the world have diabetes and 1.5 million deaths are directly attributed to diabetes each year.

I don’t wanna die.
Not yet.
That is why I’m taking this event to heart.
As a message.
It’s time I stop my lax approach to this disease, pull up my big girl panties,
take the prescribed medications and better my health.
But, that will only be the beginning.

Scare Me Silly is an all inclusive event.
Running until October 27th, it features two Hunts, Live Performers,
DJ’s and an Art Show.
Designers have come out in hoards making shopping a treat.
Roped Passions is one of those designers.
With 100% of it’s sales going toward the event, I give you

I’ve gained weight, haven’t I?
Should I get plastic surgery?

Loaded questions!
To whom those are addressed to, most know that to answer them straight forward is asking for an invitation to sudden death.
There is a way to tell the truth, however, without needless pain and suffering…

If you have, it’s all in the right places.
Why get a breast lift when I can hold them for you for free?
An end table should be so lucky.

Does my butt look like an end table in this dress?

This dress is called Burn Orange Japanese Silk and
Designs By Soosy (DBS) is the creator.
Bright with colors bursting from it’s seams, this mini
is compatible with Belleza, Maitreya and Slink Mesh Bodies.
For the daring, panties aren’t included.
However, DBS  has included Mocca Stockings via an Omega Applier
to give your legs some umpf.

As far as end tables are concerned,
Anna’s Attic has that covered with the Beats Pallet Set.
I have a long history with pallets, so sitting on Anna’s
comfy couch brought back memories.
At first, I thought this set was dubbed Beats because of
it’s use of pallets.  It’s no secret that the wooden flats
take quite a beating carrying load after load of
precious cargo.  But, that’s not what Anna had in mind.
You see, the couch has 8 single dances and 1 Couples
Sway dance included along with several sitting animations.
The DJ Turntable comes with it’s own animation allowing
you to play your tunes and rock out all at the same time.
So, the Beats part of this set’s name is in reference to the music
you’ll be bopping to while using it.
The remainder of  the set is a Pallet Table, End Table, 2 sets of Headphones
and a Neon Lava Lamp.

Both creations from DBS and Anna’s Attics can be found at Rock Your Rack.
If you haven’t heard, Rock Your Rack is a charity even for breast cancer.
 Now in it’s 6th year, RYR involves 72 Designers,
features 2D/3D Artists and 3 Tribute Concerts.
Is that all?
NOPE!
Rock is also rocking it with 23 DJ Dance Parties, 12 Live Music Artist Shows, 6 Fashion Shows, the 10L Hunt and Silent Auctions.
It is an all inclusive event where there is literally something for everybody.

Beginning September 29th and lasting until October 13th,
the time has come for us to help raise money for such a
worthy cause.
You know you wanna.
